Terms of Use
Effective date: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of TaxOfficeHub, the online portal at taxofficehub.com (the “Portal”), operated by TaxOfficeHub (“TaxOfficeHub”, “we”, “us”). By creating a password, signing in or otherwise using the Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.
1. What TaxOfficeHub Is
TaxOfficeHub provides a portal that tax preparation service bureaus use to work with the service bureaus and tax offices that file through them. Through the Portal you may be able to open and follow support tickets, confirm your business details, review your fees, sign agreements and complete forms.
Your service relationship — including the software you use, the fees you pay and the support you receive — is with the service bureau that invited you (your “Service Bureau”), and is governed by the agreement you sign with it. These Terms cover your use of the Portal itself.
2. Your Account
Your account is created by invitation from your Service Bureau. You agree to give accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your password confidential. Each person must use their own login; accounts may not be shared.
You are responsible for everything done under your account. Tell your Service Bureau right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Your Service Bureau may deactivate your account at any time, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or that put the Portal, its users or taxpayer information at risk.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Portal for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including filing or supporting false or fraudulent returns.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that contains malware.
- Try to access accounts, data or parts of the Portal that are not yours, or test or bypass its security.
- Copy, resell, scrape or overload the Portal, or use automated tools to access it without our written permission.
- Harass or abuse other users or the people who support you.
4. Information You Provide
You keep ownership of the information and documents you provide through the Portal. You give TaxOfficeHub and your Service Bureau permission to store, use and share that information as needed to operate the Portal and provide the services you request, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to share any taxpayer or third-party information you enter or upload, and for handling that information as the law requires, including IRS Publication 4557 and the FTC Safeguards Rule.
5. Support Tickets
Tickets you open in the Portal are handled by your Service Bureau and the service providers that help it deliver support. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis; response times are not guaranteed unless your agreement with your Service Bureau says otherwise.
6. Electronic Signatures and Communications
When you sign an agreement or form in the Portal by typing your name and drawing your signature, you agree that your electronic signature is legally binding, just like a signature on paper. We record the time, your IP address and the agreement version with your signature.
You agree to receive account and service messages by email and, if you give a mobile number, by text message. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
7. Availability and Changes
We work to keep the Portal available and secure, but it may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features of the Portal at any time.
8. Disclaimers
The Portal is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, TaxOfficeHub makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. TaxOfficeHub does not prepare tax returns and does not give tax, legal or financial advice. Tax software, electronic filing and bank products are provided by third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TaxOfficeHub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Portal. TaxOfficeHub’s total liability for any claim relating to the Portal is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
10. Indemnification
You will defend and hold TaxOfficeHub harmless from claims, penalties and costs that arise from your use of the Portal, the information you provide, or your breach of these Terms or the law.
11. Ending Your Use
You may stop using the Portal at any time. These Terms continue to apply to any use before then. Sections 4, 8, 9, 10 and 12 survive after your use ends.
12. General
These Terms, our Privacy Policy and any agreement you sign in the Portal are the entire agreement between you and TaxOfficeHub about the Portal. If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; the effective date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the Portal after a change means you accept it.
